One consistent daydream amongst me and my closest friends is being a popular Dungeons & Dragons podcast group. Though it is not a reality, it did not stop me from taking the concept and running with it. This is a small, personal project meant to impersonate the intro shorts shown at the beginning of several D&D shows.

I created the entire project from scratch with my own vectors and animations. Each frame depicts the characters directly from our home game. I wanted to create something with a legendary feel - a story that would be found on an ancient scroll or old tome.

​To find that specific tone, I experimented with different ink bleed effects. Eventually, I settled on this fading design with hints of animation and movement to bring the seemingly static characters to life.
